How do I Enroll Others from the course display page?

To enroll others from the course display page/screen:

1. Search for the course in the Catalog Search.

2. After clicking on the course, you will see the course Display Screen.

3. Click the drop down arrow next to the “Take Course” button, and select “Enroll Others.”

4. Consider selecting the "Enroll as Required" box.

  Tip

Please note the “Enroll as Required” box is only aesthetic. It will place the learning resource on the learner’s auto enrollments tab, but it does not put the learner in a required audience. Therefore, when processing a required audience report, any learner enrolled using this method will not appear in a required audience report. Please consider this if you proceed to use this feature.

5. To enroll an individual employee, enter the name in the format "Last Name, First Name," then click Search.  Click here to go directly to the step for enrolling multiple employees.

6. From the Search Result list, click to highlight the correct name, then click the “Select" button.

7. Click to highlight the name in the Selected Participants list and Click the “Enroll” button.

8. To enroll multiple employees simultaneously, click the “From Clipboard” button.

a. You will need a list of the employee JHED ID’s (copying from an Excel spreadsheet column works best). Ensure sure you have accurate JHED IDs.

9. Select “User Name” (same as JHED ID in myLearning) as the type of data and click the “Next” button.

10. The screen below will appear if you have accurate JHED ID’s. Click “Finish.”  If you have bad JHED ID’s you will need to clean up your list and repeat this process.

11. The learner(s) that you enrolled will receive an email notification about being enrolled in the course.
