How do I assign a level 1 evaluation and run a level 1 evaluation report?

A level 1 evaluation allows learner to provide impressions and feedback as it relates to a learning experience.  This article provides insight on how to configure a learning resource to include a level 1 evaluation and how to retrieve the data associated with a level 1 evaluation via myLearning Standard Reports.


Configure a Level 1 Evaluation


1.    From the Administrator’s Console, type in the name of your resource and click on the arrow icon.

 


2.    Select the details tab.  Under Level 1 Evaluation, click on the drop-down menu.  Choose either LTI Team – eLearning Evaluation or LTI Team – Instructor Led Training Evaluation, depending on the type of learning resource that you create.


  Tip

Choose only LTI Team – eLearning Evaluation or LTI Team – Instructor Led Training Evaluation for this report.




  Tip

After the learner has completed the learning resource, the notification to complete the Level 1 Evaluation will be sent that night. 



Running a Level 1 Evaluation Report

The Learning Technology and Innovation Team has configured a specific myLearning Standard Report template to obtain the results of a Level 1 Evaluation.  Please see the following steps on how to process the Level 1 Evaluation Report. 



1.    Click on reports.

2.    Select View Report Catalog.



3.    Click on myLearning Standard Reports.

 


4.    Choose Level 1 Evaluation > Set Criteria.



5.    Enter a date range.

6.    Under Criteria, select Course.

7.    Under Select Course, type the name of the course.



8.    Click on Filter.

9.    Select the checkbox next to the course’s title.



10.    Click on Run Report.

11.    Choose the course’s title to download the report.

 


12.    The feedback data includes the course title, question, response, enrollment date, class date (if it's an ILT learning resource), and date completed.
