Why isn’t there a next button or it’s greyed out?

A course may be designed in a way that prevents you from moving to the next slide if you have not reviewed all of the learning content.  Ensure that all links and interactions on the slide have been clicked on.  For example, you may have to:

  • Click on a PDF.
  • Click a link to a website.
  • Complete a quiz question.
  • Complete a matching activity.

If you haven’t clicked on everything, you may be prevented from navigating to the next slide.

In the event that a button, link, or interaction opens a new window in your web browser, you’ll have to navigate back to the original course window to continue with the course.  Go to the solutions article called How do I navigate back to the course window? for more information.

If you feel like you’ve clicked on everything in the slide and still can’t move on in the course, please click here to open a ticket with the Learning Technology and Innovation team.
