What are the responsibilities of a System Administrator and the LTI Team?

The following table outlines the different responsibilities of a System Administrator and the Learning Technology and Innovation (LTI) Team.


System Administrator
Learning Technology & Innovation Team
Manages content and learning resources for respective departmentAdds learning resources to the Johns Hopkins Employee catalog or Entity specific catalogs for search availability
Provides system support for respective entity/departmentSupports System administrators and 38,000 JHHS learners
Assignment Responsibilities

Creates learning assignments for a particular department, entity or group of learners. Any assignments that impact multiple Johns Hopkins entities must be presented and approved by the New/Revised Learning Committee.   
Assignment Responsibilities

Along with the New/Revised Learning Committee, the LTI leadership reviews and approves system-wide required learning assignments. If you have training that needs to be assigned to learners across multiple JH Entities, click here to submit your request.
Processes reportsMaintains myLearning standard reports and builds custom reports
